Renewed hope after this weekend. The oligarchs are still firmly in control, but Trump is discovering not enough people want to see the Constitution trampled by him or his goons, and he's not going to be presiding over an autocracy after all.

He will keep trying. But there are too many angry people, too many judges upholding the rule of law, too many agency heads hiring back whoever they can, and too few trump-worshippers in the armed forces. Right wing media, with propaganda machines spinning for months, were not able to rally even a smallish group of true believers to show up for the emperor's new parade.
