As Donald Trump deliberates over Iran, he has a MAGA problem

"We now have total and complete control over the skies of Iran," he said.

He was either suggesting the United States and Israel were a "we" or he was saying the US was in control.

Either way, it is likely to anger parts of the MAGA movement who have been reminding him that kind of thinking is not very America first.

Some of the president's longest and most diehard supporters have warned that US involvement in the Israel-Iran conflict could "blow up the coalition" of MAGA supporters.ld Trump deliberates over Iran, he has a MAGA problem.

All lines that were stunning because they appeared to communicate the US was already somewhat entangled.

That is not what some parts of MAGA want to hear and despite being a convert to the movement himself, it appears JD Vance is well aware of the cracks starting to appear ...

... MAGA is far from a monolithic group, but some of its most high-profile commentators are putting its differences on display for Donald Trump to see.

Steve Bannon, Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene — the gang's all here.

The divide is getting deeper and getting very personal   ...(read on)
