For 21 years, the US has done the same thing, but the US can print more money while Joe can't. The debt has piled up and requires buying more debt to pay the debt. On average, every man, woman, and child would owe $230,000 to pay the debt. So when you hear the Trump bill will add 3 trillion to the debt, they are not telling you about the debt they already owe.

There are solutions to the debt, but they are political, so the ship of state, headed for the rocks, is told to go left or right, and we end up doing nothing as the rocks get closer. Imagine that Al Gore had won his election. There may have been more done about climate change. Now imagine that Trump will increase debt until there is less spending, more unemployment, and bondholders begin to sell their T-bills. But that is exactly where we are without imagination. Trump is the King of bankruptcies. Could the US run out of money? You bet your ass it could.

The Fed director Powell is near the end of his term. If a Trump hack is installed there will be no confidence and the shit will destroy the fan.
