Big, billowing, beautiful thunderheads are rising in the east over the Everglades which usually means afternoon showers at this time of year. They're welcome if you don't have to drive somewhere or if you're out on the water as they knock down the temperature and humidity in their aftermath most days. I remember those magical evenings, SRS, when the fireflies would show up at twilight. We don't seem to have them here in SWFL.
