That’s not quite correct.

Older Fylde guitars had (have) a steel box-section non-adjustable truss rod. Later instruments have a single-action (a.k.a. ‘One-way) adjustable truss rod. So whilst not all Fyldes have adjustable truss rods, they do all have a truss rod, albeit that older guitars’ rods are non-adjustable.
