I haven’t said anything about using heavy strings, in fact I haven’t said anything about strings at all. All I’ve done is correct your erroneous statement that “Most of them don’t have truss rods”, and explained that they do, in fact, have truss rods although older Fyldes’ truss rods aren’t adjustable, and may be other materials than steel.

Perhaps you’d care to point out where you think I’ve said anything about “Putting heavy strings on your Fylde guitar”? (Clue: I haven’t, and you can’t).
