Some years ago I read a history about Joe Hill was remembering his stories and songs. His song about Casey Jones the union flag i some times think it is not the best songs to be performing in public but one recording i have on it was made in folkways in 1941 by the almanack singers with pete seeger singing lead and playing banjo. joe hill died in 1912 verry young to see a first sound of that song.
