I pay for an account already. I could use the productivity software free through my university but I wanted online storage for photos and the amount I get with Microsoft is about $70 a year, less than DropBox and other places.

Yeah, I know about that year extension. It needs looking into - at the end of the year, then what? No support, or they brick it?
