The US Constitution has a Second Amendment, does it not, which guarantees the ‘Right to bear arms’? And the frequently-offered reason by the gun-nuts and the NRA for such a Right is to provide for an armed Militia to challenge and prevent the government from taking up arms against the people, is it not?

So I wonder why, in the face of government action against the people (including force by armed agents) the NRA isn’t currently organising its much-vaunted ‘well-regulated Militia’ and taking these agents on?

Don’t tell me that this ‘well-regulated Militia’ and ‘holding the government to account’ is all NRA gun-nut nonsense? Surely not…?
