The view of the NRA Trump supporters all around me appears to be:

1. Thank God, we've finally got a President who doesn't just talk.

2. He gets things done, even if they're wrong.

3. Maybe DC crime is down, maybe not. (The President says the figures are fake.) But down or not, there's still way too much. If the cops can't handle it, why shouldn't he call in the National Guard?

3. He's getting rid of the worst of the worst.

4. What's more, *anybody* who enters the country illegally is a criminal by definition and should be deported. They "didn't come in with due process, so why should they leave with it?" Besides, the Constitution is for American citizens.

5. The National Guard is to protect us. Why should anyone be worried if they haven't done anything wrong?

6. Trump says he's going to send troops to other high-crime cities too. Good for him!
