Lexington [Ky.] Weekly Press (July 29, 1846):

“We have received from the author, Mr G. Grimes, two neatly printed pamphlets, one entitled ‘Treatise on Insanity,’ and the other entitled ‘The Lily of the West.’ They ere written by Mr Grimes whilst he was an inmate of the Lunatic Asylum in Nashville, Tennessee.”
