Yeah, I'm gonna call myself an 'oldie'. I already experience a lot of Pappy's issues with Windows 10. I figured I'd eventually (soon) buy a new laptop with 11 on it and 'go with the flow'. But how much stuff would I get to migrate on it? I don't want to 'rent' my spreadsheet and word processor, but I guess the going philosophy is: "You're already there."
I test drove an almost new Toyota yesterday. The lane holding controls are only the beginning. I like the backup camera but in essence I'm buying a room sized laptop where I'm sitting in IT'S lap. This is a far far cry from the 90s pickup where I myself changed the tires and installed the headbolt heater. And of course, unless we're hit by the great Pulse In The Sky which does a DayTheEarthStoodStill on the electrical innards of all our stuff and leaves us hungry and thirsty in the middle of our melted toys, things will only accelerate from where we are now.
