Subject: RE: BS: on the naming of Snowploughs

The most dreaded four words for an English train commuter to hear are "leaves on the line"; so every autumn, the rail companies send out special trains which remove the compacted leaves with high-pressure water jets, lest said leaves cause train wheels to lose traction when the brakes go on.
According to BBC Red Button, there's been a competition for naming the newest leaf-removing vehicle. Runners-up included Leaf-Fall Weapon, Pulp Friction and The Autumn Avenger; the winner was the magnificent Ctrl Alt Deleaf.
