That’s precisely my position - for many years I voted Liberal/Lib Dem, not because I’m a Lib/Lib Dem supporter, but because, in my safe-Tory-seat constituency, Labour always came a very poor third with the Libs/Lib Dems a much closer second. It seemed sense, therefore, to vote Lib/Lib Dem in the hope they would oust our long-sitting Tory MP. Sadly it never came to fruition and, following what I regard as the treachery of the Lib Dem coalition with Cameron’s Tories in 2010, I’ve preferred to vote Labour.
