The stock market seems to have dissociated itself from the Trump chaos, though early in the year it was tanking (under the age-old adage of buy-low, sell-high, I added money to my mutual funds when things were low.) It is perking along these days, even with a government shutdown. The small-cap and mid-cap funds struggle more, but it seems that the oligarchs have everything well in hand for the big investors.
