6 Oct 1869 The Ledbury Scandal. During the Sunday morning service at Ledbury church a young woman , Elizabeth Lane, walked into the church accompanied by a young child. She walked up the aisle, faced the congregation and announced that it was the Rev Jackson's child adding to the child "Look at your Papa".
