Look on the bright side of ukes: there are a lot of people who are getting the opportunity to gain musical skills and knowledge which would not have happened if there had not been a uke revival. IMHO

Here in Newcastle NSW Oz there is a large group of mostly volunteers running various musical events and workshops, including large singing together events. Music is becoming a more common "language" in our area and a lot of credit goes to voluntary groups like that.
