R brought home a "Chicken Soup" book re Breast Cancer. I would it very helpful to learn about how it has affected others - in their words. Had a visit with a Dr at the clinic and told him I am looking for a support group, showed him the book and he said he would look into it and phone Thursday (today). In the meantime I have been eating better and feeling much better - hoping each morning that it will last a while.
Friends from CN are visiting this aft; I offered lunch in a text this am - no response yet. Jeff shared pics of an incredible sunset on the highway somewhere in NYS! Mine was not so great but at least I was reminded to look for it; I do not get to see much in the west - houses and trees. Managed to watch the half moon go down behind the house and trees across the street.
I walked (a longer walk!) around to see the north side of the increasing development behind our home. Look as though there will be a couple dozen condos or apts - 4-plex to 8 or more- plex. As long as they leave the trees behind the house, it will be noxious noise from kids walking to school past our bedroom windows and lots more traffic on small roads. Wondering how the "Rez" is going to deal with the excess traffic; they have closed the road during morning rush hour for about a year now. The whole new development dumps directly onto that road. I am amazed this dev was permitted!
The rain has started. Thinking of SRS! But we sure need the rain. I never thought it would get seriously dry here but it has.
Waiting with bated breath for a response to my offer of lunch!
