RAINY Day! Desperately needed but gloomy!! Thinking of SRS - hope all is well!
Yesterday was about the same but dear friends brightened the day with a visit, and flowers! They are both working toward becoming CA residents - studying French on line and jumping through the hoops! Always great to have -rare- visit from these folks!
I started the day with energy - making a nice lunch ...BUT ran out of steam at the salad - with all the makings sitting on the counter when they arrived, I said, "I ran out of steam, Agata!" knowing full well she, both of them actually could jump in and finish the job, and anything else needed! A decent meal but not at my usual - once upon a time! standard. Agata took care of clean up, putting things away in - mostly- their usual homes! What a great idea - Have company and let them do the work!!
Jeff remembered that the last time he had a Thanksgiving Dinner was at our 3rd floor -walkup flat in Montreal - 1976, I think! Many gallons of water over the dam since then!! And this am, he sent a couple texts with suggestions of support group possibilities.
The "health app" told me I walked 3 times as much as any recent days. That is GOOD!
I considered counting how many moves since then but too many memories - it would take week! So - what to do on this rainy day?
