I notice roadside panhandlers trying to offer something in exchange for cash. A guy with a squeegee (but no water, just a spray bottle), and last night, a guy with a rag and a can of Armorall, wanting to polish the tires. Desperate times call for innovative marketing. I usually offer a bottle of water and a $5, declining services offered. (If I had clean windows and tires I'd have to wash the SUV.)
