have 'met' a number, being active in folk music for 30 years...but I suppose that several times that stand out are..1) nodding to Tom Paley to take a fiddle break as I did "The Storms Are On the Ocean", 2) guiding Peggy Seeger & Ewan MacColl to a concert and chatting with them alone for 30 minutes.. 3) putting up Alastair Anderson one night when his planned host was ill. 4) having Martyn Wyndham-Read ask to buy one of the little folding chairs I make, and meeting me at an airport so I could deliver it for his flight home.gee...if I had a $ for every one I've met briefly at a concert or festival!! (folk legends are usually like that... part of the crowd and friendly)
