It is probably best to be neither elated nor disappointed as to what you become, particularly if you are Buddhist. Fortunately, you can choose your reality by way of free will. You can choose time as circular or linear. Either way, the present has elements of the past and future. For me the universe presents circles and linear vectors.
Circles are more evident and beautiful.
