He was also a visual artist, a writer and a researcher of geneology and local history. Originally from Belfast, Seoirse lived in County Donegal for most of his adult life. I first met Seoirse at the pier in Bunbeg, where practically as soon as we introduced ourselves Seoirse asked me if I sang any songs!
