"Sheepdogging" can also mean working hard to round up stray voters with promises of real reform, then guiding them gently into the corral to vote for the same old corrupt party hacks, well occasionally a handsomer or more well-spoken or younger one. I hope that's not where all this courageous-looking leadership winds up.
