On Monday Terry sang...
LA VIEJA (Spanish)

Una vieja que yo conocía
debajo la cama un perro tenía
Cada vez que la vieja rezaba
el perro ladraba y así le decía

Estribillo
Susurumbe, susurumbe
Cucara macara títere fue
Que me gustan, que me gustan
Que me gustan los ojos de usted

Una vieja que yo conocía
debajo la cama un pato tenía
Cada vez que la vieja rezaba
el pato pateaba y así le decía

(Estribillo)

Una vieja que yo conocía
debajo la cama dos pollitos tenía
Cada vez que la vieja rezaba
los pollos piaban y así le decía

(Estribillo)

Una vieja que yo conocía
debajo la cama un hombre tenía
Cada vez que la vieja rezaba
el hombre cantaba y así le decía

(Estribillo)
THE OLD WOMAN

An old woman I knew
Had a dog under her bed
Every time the old woman prayed
The dog barked and said to her:

Chorus
Susurumbe, susurumbe
Cucara macara, puppet it was/the puppet did it
I like, I like
I like your eyes

An old woman I knew
Had a duck under her bed
Every time the old woman prayed
The duck waddled and said to her:

(Chorus)

An old woman I knew
Had two chicks under her bed
Every time the old woman prayed
The chicks chirped and said to her:

(Chorus)

An old woman I knew
Had a man under her bed
Every time the old woman prayed
The man sang and said to her:

(Chorus)
There are many versions of this song with different beings under the old woman's bed.
The chorus may also have different versions. The first two lines (and sometimes the whole chorus) have no real meaning, they're part or a slightly different version of a county-out rhyme: Tin marín de dos pingüé.

I found this rendition with a set of lyrics of the same type as Terry's.
