But guys, my kitchen is safe, I don't have any nuocmam so there is nothing to confuse the formaldehyde with, so I've never had an accident. I'm not hijacking, really I'm not, but it is interesting to me what people want back. In novels they are always giving people back the shotgun pellets they remove... placentas are good for you if you can get past the Not In My Mouth part... in my case it was prompted by sheer cussedness - when I asked as a joke if I could have it back, the answer was No, it doesn't belong to you, it belongs to the hospital, and I took umbrage at the idea that just because they were taking it out made it theirs, so I had a huge fight with the surgeon and DEMANDED they give me MY body part, and they wouldn't, so I claimed that I needed it to be whole in the afterlife, and they shut up. I forgot all about it till they handed me the little jar with the little thing with clamps at either end on it... it's the only thing I've ever claimed religion for, but I thought it was ridiculous (and I still do) that they would claim ownership of my excised portions.
