The 1931 recording of the Renfrew Valley boys song is a joy to listen. the song Who's Gonna Shoe Your Pretty Little Feet was collected by John Lomax but it's sad that there is only one member that was on that session recording that has gone to more fame in music. that artist is Ike Everley who played mandolin on that 1931 session has worked helping many folks in the music seen the most remembered of his time in the 1940s when he worked as a hairdresser with his wife Margaret. In their spare time they got their sons to listen to old recordings and by 1957 there sons who were called Dpn and Phil got music careers of there own. Their first hits were written by Boudleux who was a customer at the hairdresser where he worked in. In 1958 the young sons recorded an album called Songs Our Daddy Taught Us and one of the songs that are on is Who's Gonna Shoe Your Pretty Little Feet.
