Social history of Stonehenge: What I'd like to know is whether there's celebrations by the new-age crowd of the winter-solstice *sunset*. There was a Time-Team-adjacent programme some years ago about the links between Stonehenge and Woodhenge, which pointed out that the latter was aligned with said sunset, and hypothesised that only considering the summer-soltice sunrise means that Stonehenge is in some ways built back-to-front. (It seems there's symmetries with the landscape that Stonehenge enjoys, but Woodhenge doesn't.)
