His question:

Canal shanties. They exist, but finding their lyrics isn’t proving easy. The ones I’m seeking are those which were historically used on the inland waterways of the UK, not the USA. I’ve heard one indistinct verse of Dead Horse that was used on canal boats, but no lyrics. Any clues?
