Tim was a highly valued contributor to Zoomchild, a monthly ballad session. He was always worth hearing, both for his fine voice and for the breadth of his repertoire. Nearly always he gave us versions we had not heard before, introducing us, for example, to the songs of Colleen and Jim Cleveland. He was also very knowledgable when (as often happens) we discussed ballads, other folk songs, and folklore in general. A notable singer, a delightful man to know, and one who will be greatly missed by us.
