MaJoC, I have noticed that it smells slightly warm, but haven't felt any hot spot on the machine. Of course, when it happens it is full of water and I can't move it to check until it's empty (after I've unplugged it, etc.)
Overnight is supposed to drop to 21o. Ugg. I added an extra blanket to my bed and I struggled mightily this evening to get Cookie zipped into her dog vest (she has the thin flat coat of a boxer). She likes it once she's in it, but hates the process.
Tonight was the opening skirmish in a modern media setup that I think may go south in a hurry. One of the partners in the new company spammed everyone on our site with a Jeremiad about what she expects and what we should or shouldn't be doing or asking of them. I can see that the new company was hoping the advertisers from our site would be a cash cow for them now. And she reads with a negative voice in her head - criticism where there isn't any. (I can also see why our old office manager decided to step away at year's end.) On top of this, the new web page dropped and I have no way to get in so I'm waiting to be given the keys to that operation. And training. I can still get into the old site through a backdoor to retrieve stuff there. This is just me grousing about a project I've worked on for years that may go out with a whimper (better than a bang.)
Time to head to bed with a book. Fuck it all for now.
