The hindsight will involve looking at the parts of our system that we always followed because of tradition, not legislation. Things like the Justice Department being separate from the White House and non-political; it hasn't always been that way, but it started that practice decades ago (after Nixon) and Trump bashed the wall between Justice and his meddling. There are lots of practices that are hide-bound but not etched in legal stone. Trump is blowing the place up as he ignores the standard practice. It means we have to legislate some of these things into being, and remove that Supreme Court nonsense that the president is above the law.
