As a 79 year-old country bumpkin from the Backwoods, I frequently come across expressions I don’t understand but, instead of wasting bandwidth by pissing and moaning at the ones using the expression, I research it for myself. It helps to keep my brain sharp, and it avoids pissing other posters off.

Others would be well advised to follow my example - it really isn’t very difficult.
