Here they are. The word like in verse 4 is my addition. There's obviously a word missing and this was my suggestion. It could equally be book or take. If you're desperate to know exactly what it should be let me know and I'll email Malc Austen, who was the source for the words in the book.

THE GREENLAND HOLIDAY SONG
(Dave Houlden)

O Greenland is a lovely place in spite of what you have been told,
Where the balmy breezes blow all the Summer long,
And it's never, never cold, brave boys,
And it's never, never cold.

So why not book into North Greenland for your Summer holiday,
So you can sit on the cliffs with your hot water bottle
And watch the whale fishes sport and play, brave boys,
And watch the whale fishes sport and play.

We are building beach bars round our coast, they'll be centrally heated too,
If you should feel chilly when you come back from your swim
A blubber cocktail will soon warm you up, brave boys,
A blubber cocktail will soon warm you up.

Or you might [like] one of our Winter breaks, ideal for your honeymoon.
Though the nights are quite warm, they are a trifle long,
You won't see the light till June, brave boys,
You won't see the light till June.

This song it was commissioned by the tourist board for North Greenland.
And the reason I am standing here and singing all these lies
Is the money they gave me in hand, brave boys,
Is the money they gave me in hand.
