Many thanks to Sandra for both starting this thread and maintaining the list for nearly 15 years already.

Do we know that all the clubs on the current list are still functioning? Some closures have been reported upthread and the names removed from the list, but how can we check the rest?

Out of curiosity I have just checked for one of the clubs that I attended in the past, and I find that it is now Edinburgh University Folk and Traditional Music Society, but still with the same short name "folksoc" as when I was going there in the 70s: see its website. I am minded to drop in for the song session next time I am in Edinburgh.
