And it raises a lot of questions about the effectiveness of the justice system in this case. I think if the victims try to take the case further it would then progress into a very costly exercise for them and that is where it becomes even more difficult and unfair for them. It becomes a financial decision on whether they can afford to pay lawyers to act on their behalf. I also think that Anna Downes shows extreme bravery to take her fight to the media. You go, Girl! Yay!
