Many people try to understand the nature of a deeper reality and arrive at a simulation conclusion. I was 5 when I felt as though real life had a simulation quality like the movies, which I later assumed was a reverse logic. We know countless entities are vying to manipulate and influence your thinking, some more than others. The simulation idea is reflected in our entertainment, as in the Matrix, The Truman Show, HBO's Westworld, and dozens of other movies.

A pixel rules the virtual reality we create for games, and in our quantum world, the smallest bits get very fuzzy. I suppose even a holographic universe is a kind of simulation. We all know Plato's cave suggests we do not know reality, but some of its shadows are visible.
