A respectful comment:

Jack Campin, as I understand it the moderators here are unpaid volunteers, and I also see a lot of varied spam attempts above the line in the music section - quite often in the daytime here in Oz but in the middle of the night over there in Mudcatland. It is unfeasible to demand that the moderators keep a discussion above the line which has an extremely high potential for spammers and sex-pests to invade and which would create an unnecessarily high amount of work for these commendable volunteers.

Nothing is impossible for the man (or woman) who does not have to do it him(or her)self but, in my opinion, there is nothing to gain from repeatedly disrespecting the moderators and their decisions in trying to protect this valuable site and to keep their workload within a reasonable limit.

Question: what do you specifically hope to achieve by having this discussion and how much of that has already been achieved in this thread as well as the "Sexual exploitation" thread referred to by Dave the Gnome?

Are there any more specific goals you hoped to achieve in this discussion, and if this is the case, please tell us what they are so that we can discuss them. If the goals have been achieved for the present, then perhaps we can leave this thread until possible developments occur in the future around Ben Gunnery or other perpetrators. (By that I mean, I hope he gets sentenced appropriately if he continues his predatory behaviour and I, for one, will be back in this thread celebrating that.)

Having done my internet searches on Ben Gunnery I saw that approximately 90% of the search results were about his sexual misdemeanors and only 10% were about his musical career - and these were posted by himself and not other people so he has to self-promote now rather than being able to rely on other people or organisations. As a goal, that is worthwhile in my opinion because he is now living with the consequences of his predatory sexual behaviour.

So, can we either continue the relevant discussion or park it until further developments occur, please.
