Freedom of thought is a heavy load. A burden that is not always a choice given, but a choice made. Man approaches truth through a succession of errors. Not to make us sorry but wise. The gravest error in human knowledge is to believe that only one version of a subject is valid and all others are invalid. History is made by a myriad of observers, none of whom are impartial. It is change, inevitable change that is the dominant fact in truth. No choice can best be made by considering the facts of today with the facts that will be tommorrow.

The saddest fact of science today is that man gathers knowledge today faster than he acquires wisdom. We imagine ourselves to be more intelligent than those who came before us. Often, it feels like truth is fading from view as con men try to manipulate thought and history.
Science is a high refined mode of consciousness to expose certain truths, which also makes it a poor way to explore consciousness with consciousness. Its like a corrupt organization being the only organization to investigate itself.
