There are flocks of Monk's Parakeets all over the US at this point. There were a bunch in a neighborhood just north of me; they build multiple nests the size of grocery store shopping carts and gather in huge family flocks. You read about them building in places like the towers that support large electric transmission cables, in the superstructures of stadium lighting, etc.
