FYI for non-Aussies: Corellas invade Australian suburb in their thousands

Corellas sound like the night of the living dead and their flocks are huge. Their noise can be deafening if you are too close, or even if they are flying overhead and there is nothing - not one thing - soothing about the sounds they make, especially the sudden squawk that they make some of the time.
