However it happened the house interior looks like the inside of a goat's stomach. In the yard all of the weeds shot up in big green patches around the yard and the contractor texted and can come over at 5pm. My handyman may be by anytime (he'll text when he's on his way.) I told the contractor that since I'm doing the painting as part of an insurance claim I don't want to confuse the items on my report when I file it. The back patio cover is a separate project I'll arrange to have out of the way of the painting project (hence the handyman). I could probably pull it down by myself, but there is a chance planks might go flying and cause harm or damage, so I'm getting some help. Everything happening all at once.

I'm working on a podcast this morning then I'll get into the yard and start mowing and trimming. Move pots that are close to the house where work will need to happen.

A batch of my crispy pecans are in the oven now so whatever else is going on today, the house will smell amazing.
