My old dad, who passed away in 1988, always said that WW3 would begin in the Middle East and would be fought over oil. Looks like he was right, although I don’t believe he ever expected that the war would be started by the United States, whom he regarded as a stable and totally trustworthy ally to the UK and Europe, the symbol of all that is right and good, and the Leader of the Free World. How times have changed.
