Indeed, Solr calls it stemming.

I suspect single-word searches are not a useful indicator of how well it performs on real searches for posts. It performs quite well with names (eg colin dipper) or titles (eg maid in bedlam).

Max: it would be better if the tick-boxes 'DT, Forum, Child' appear on the same order in the front page and the search results page.
