I intend to stay afloat as far as COVID is concerned; I went in for the six-month vaccination booster. It is still around, but it isn't in the news much. From the World Health Organization:

SARS-CoV-2 reported cases: Last 28 days

In the 28-day period from 02 February 2026 to 01 March 2026, 64 countries across three WHO regions reported new COVID-19 cases. During this 28-day period, a total of 48,173 new cases were reported, which is a decrease compared to the 49,750 new cases reported from 64 countries in the previous 28-day period (Table 2.1, 2.2). Overall, eight countries from the Americas and Europe showed an increase in new cases of over 10%.
