I first met Paul in the early 1980s through my late husband Tom Hall (Mudcat's Curmudgeon). At the original Press Room, of course, in Portsmouth, NH.

I think the last contact I had with him was shortly before his stroke, when I contacted him to tell him Tom had died.

Paul was on our old friend Rocky's (Mark "Rocky" Rockwood) LP in 1969 of his band The Great Metropolitan Steam Band (based in Boston, I think). Paul was uncredited on the album, but by the time I put the LP onto cassette in the mid-80s, I recognized his voice.

A few years ago I acquired a very professionally done Korean bootleg on CD.
