I'm not sure whether this article fits into this thread, but...the news has upset me, i.e. firstly finding out that a musician was stabbed and then that I know about this musician who is famous in our city.

Newcastle musician - Greg Bryce

Greg Bryce has been a part of the music scene here in Newcastle NSW for a long time. He was in a well-known rock band called DV8 for decades and now has a solo career.

When I saw an article headline which said a local musician had been stabbed I went on the internet-search hunt to find out who it might be and I did get an inkling, but now this ABC (Oz) article has confirmed my suspicion.

I hope he recovers soon. His attacker has been arrested and denied bail.

All I can say is, WTF was the attacker thinking? By all accounts, Greg Bryce is a good person, a gentle soul. Was he just in the wrong place at the wrong time? Who knows?
