At a concert several years ago, I heard the best rendition ever of “Twa Corbies” done by a singer who had two accompanists. I bought a later cd release by the artist with the song on it. The recorded version was totally over-garnished with bells & whistles, etc. making it probably the worst version of the song I’d ever heard. What a disappointment.
Always remember, less is best.
