SRS.. it's a fairly common thing to wonder about the idea of us as just a micro-verse in some larger macro-verse. I had a friend who speculated about seriously, but the physics just doesn't work. We.. and the solar system... can't act as though we are some sort of electron whizzing around some atom. I've read a lot science fiction and even those authors can't do it.
