Marc the contractor did not succumb to the Norovirus yesterday, as I had assumed, but came down with migraine. The only good thing to be said about migraine is that it's not contagious. Today he was back at it, a bit pale about the gills, and stuck it out with the stone crew until mid-afternoon.

SIL No. 1 is sufficiently recovered to want to cook, bless her heart, after suffering a return of the Norovirus. My olfactory senses are struggling to revive -- I could taste a Fisherman's Friend cough lozenge this afternoon, and I did not have to be told that the whole house stinks of granite sealant. Andrew seems just fine. He's out on his bicycle, as is his wont on days when the weather is not downright dangerous.

My kitchen project is still on schedule, much to my surprise. Maybe we'll make that Easter deadline!
